For a refreshing “Citrus-Berry Splash” place in blender

1/2 cup blackberries; 1/4 cup blueberries; 1/2 cup strawberries;

1/2 banana (optional). Juice from 2 freshly squeezed oranges;

2 rounded tablespoons of your favorite protein powder.

Add ice cubes or cold water, then blend and enjoy.

As with any recipe you can substitute, change, and not use any ingredient.

For instance, cucumber can be added or substituted as an ingredient in most fruit shakes, according to your taste.

When we become familiar with a recipe, we naturally make it more to our liking.

Note: Use organic or environmentally friendly farming fruits and vegetables when possible and if desired. The nutritive content and quality is higher. We also eliminate most all of the pesticide residue by choosing organic; and reduce chemical residue by choosing sustainable/environmental conscious farming.

If you do use non-organic or non-environmentally friendly grown fruits and veges, double rinse before eating raw or cooking.
