What will be our prominent intention, our primary attitude in this day? If we hold a respect in our hearts for ourselves and those who come into our lives, we will have a happier day. Even when someone is disrespectful to us, the decision is ours how to respond. If we pay back the disrespect then there are two miserable people instead of one.

On the other hand, when we respond and not react to the rudeness and love them anyway, we will go our way free and clear. In the next moments we may meet a client or a person who could become a potential good friend. Are we receptive and open to receive our daily manna? Goodness has a constant presence in our lives–are we ready and available to greet it, welcome it?

What’s more, if our primary mantra and motive is to spread love, respect and give others the grace of pardon, we are living in love which fosters joy in our hearts while blessing others. And, importantly, we remain open to prosperity and opportunities. Plus our hearts are available and willing to see beyond appearances to the good in people and in the environment where we are.

For, the interesting thing is we do not know what one kind act can prevent, can do to uplift and change the direction of someone’s day. Casual people may come into our lives throughout the day–at the grocery store, gas station, coffee shops, restaurants and post office. Our thoughts and intentions to let love guide our ways, actions, gestures and speech make all the difference in the world right now.

Too, in expressing our loving motives, just an act of grace and kindness shown to another could improve and transform another’s attitude and actions. Certainly, we feel good and the possibility is great we have also touched in a positive way and enriched another person or group of people. The best thing is we benefit the most from living in love and spreading kindness regardless. You are invited to visit Prayer of the Day and take in the prayer titled: The Synergistic Harmony of Light and Love, dated 12.13.15.
