There is a divine affirmation declaring: I am a Spiritual Being, Living in a Spiritual Universe, which is governed by Spiritual Laws, including Love, the Grace of God and Divine Ideas.

Do we believe in appearance or the creative power innately within aligned with spiritual vision and truths. In this, we each are co-creators and have an influence in how we experience life and how relationships, challenges, projects, and things of our life unfold and turn out.

To illustrate, a friend of mine faced serious marital problems. She struggled in what to do, which way to turn. She suffered through the marriage experience most of the time. Yet she did an important thing–she kept listening to the nudge inside her heart that said–climb higher within yourself, go to the mountain top and seek and be saturated with the purest wisdom and the truest love, which is transformative to self and others. Seek higher guidance was her inner repeated message.

She took some time out from fretting and being miserable. Visited a spiritual bookstore and met with a minister. Soon thereafter, she went on a spiritual retreat where she read relationship books of a different kind. She had periods of silence in meditation times, open and asking to be given divine understanding and spiritual vision to see the things in her life and the predicament and problems in her marriage in a new light–to view her husband using spiritual vision and purer understanding–undiluted with the past experiences, hurts, beliefs and actions. She had faith in the God nature within herself and the Christ nature within the marriage blessing their union

Following this, she felt an inner assurance, a new power stirring. She was more peaceful as a result of going apart for a few days. When she returned to daily life with her husband, she continued to take time to pray, meditate, and listen to inspirational messages based on truth ideas. She also continued to meditation including times of listening within.

Things did not get better immediately. However she was better inside herself. Along with this, she now understood a deeper truth–when we are doing our spiritual work inner changes take place because of how the creative power moves, from the inside out, from the unseen into the seen, and from the ideas, beliefs, attitudes, and principles we put into practice and live by.

In time changes began taking place. She improved at seeing the whole individual when looking at and communicating with her husband. Where she could see faults and problems before, she saw gifts and qualities in her husband not seen before. She could see his inner beauty.

Another thing took place–she expressed love through the words and in her communications with her spouse. She acted from the Christ love within herself. In those times she felt weak, she knew to recharge and regain her spiritual composure and union with her inner undaunted spirit. The couple grew together and closer in time until the storms in their marriage became lesser and lesser, turning into many more days spent joyfully together. Their relationship healed.

One more thing my friend did. She would envision the true meaning of their marriage. They had not only joined together in the same household and together in marriage, they had joined in spiritual union and unity. There was a divine light present within each of them and within their marriage as the saving grace to acknowledge as present, as well as a love and guiding light in their midst to heal and solve problems with.

Positively, she counted on the divine light of understanding and engaged with the will of good within herself, her husband and the marriage. We have the same power and light to unite with and to realize is present as the healing force, regardless of how seemingly insurmountable, in any of our relationships and challenges in relationships. The power to heal is present with and inside of us always.

To summarize:  UNDERSTANDING is your ability to know that God stands under all things; UNDERSTANDING is your knowing how to accomplish; and UNDERSTANDING is knowing with your heart.

Clear Knowing, quick, lightning-like inspiration clarity, clear thinking

“Through my clear thinking and steadfast purpose, wonderful new values come into expression.”

Understanding Faith is grounded in divine ideas, principles and spiritual Truths. It is an understanding arising from inner direction and perceiving light. Understanding Faith is acquired by lowly listening for inner knowledge and guidance rising from within imparting a knowing surer and truer than any book learning or outer knowledge.

Whereas instinctual faith springs from human knowing and awareness, human intelligence and physical senses, and  innate basic survivor skills. Instinctual knowing and understanding can partner with the deeper understanding from the well-spring of spiritual wisdom, spiritual intelligence, divine knowing, and the unlimited capacity of our Divine Spirit inherent to who and what we are.

The reason for taking the Divine power of Understanding and Will together is because they work as a team: The Will carries out what we understand, perceive or accept as true. A summation of the power of Will and Willingness:  WILL is my ability to be willing toward God; WILL is always seeking the good for all; WILL is my directive power that determines character formation, the great permission giver of our consciousness.

Cora Fillmore wrote: “These powers working together have the ability to perceive in the invisible realm of thought (understanding), and to direct and bring the inner light from the unmanifest to the manifest world (will).”
